Mobius Discovery Center

Mobius is excited to participate in the 2026 GSK program, in collaboration with The Franklin Institute. This nationally recognized initiative engages young learners in hands-on chemistry experiences throughout the summer, supporting early STEM interest and skill building.

We can’t wait to spark curiosity all summer long and inspire the next generation of scientists in our community!

This Friday! Join us Friday, June 19th from 10am - 1pm for Dino Day! 🦖🦕

Participate in collaborative art, assemble a dinosaur with foam bones, discover how to identify whether a dinosaur is a carnivore or herbivore with partner, EWU College of Science, Technology, Engineering & Math, and catch a dinosaur show in our mobile planetarium*.

Plus, get crafty with screen printing! Guests are invited to bring an extra light-colored shirt or tote bag to print a Mobius Dino Day design on. A paper option will be provided.

Have you explored the buzz about bees in our exhibit, The Secrets of Bees?

In this exhibit, observe a hive, discover which fruits and vegetables are pollinated by bees, and learn about the bee life cycle. Fly into a giant beehive and explore the important roles of the queen bee, worker bee, and drone bee! Dress like a beekeeper, practice extracting honey, and use beekeeping tools to make and sell honey at the farmer’s market.
