Our Mission: Honor and Remember fallen military heroes from WA and N Idaho, support the families left behind, engage communities in doing both.

Heroes aren't forgotten until their names are no longer spoken, and that won't happen on our watch. The FHP creates large banners of post 9/11 Fallen Heroes that are carried in parades and posted at events throughout the northwest. To request one for your Hero, please visit http://www.marchforthefallen.com/we-remember.html. The Project also invites you to visit Illuminating Courage, a post 9/11 Fa

Mission Assist is this Tuesday, 6/23! If you saw this month's newsletter, we have an opportunity to help a Gold Star spouse with some work on her farm.

Earlier this year, her electric company cut down trees they identified as a hazard to their power lines and left them where they fell. She has since had the trees limbed and bucked, and now needs assistance with the remaining work.

The tasks include:

Splitting wood (using a splitter)

Chipping limbs (using a chipper)

Planting for those who prefer or are unable to assist with equipment work.

The farm is near Cheney. If you are able to volunteer, please message us or reach out to Terri at Veterans Community Response by emailing [email protected]

Thanks!

It's Father's Day and we want to acknowledge and celebrate all the fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers, and father figures in our lives.

We honor each of you, we pause to acknowledge and remember those no longer with us, and we thank you for the strength, love, care and sacrifice you give and make.

Happy Father's Day friends, may memories be made, shared and remembered well today. 💙

Fairfield, thank you for hosting us yesterday! Your town is so welcoming and the parade is so fun. We're so thankful for our Fallen Heroes Volunteers as well as everyone who stopped to chat, see the float, and just say hello. Hospitality is huge in small-town Washington and we're already looking forward to next year. 🇺🇸

That’s a wrap! Kind of. 🙃 Thank you so much to all who supported our Hero Shop this week! We appreciate you so much!

If you missed out, we’ll have some of our crafters’ fun things at the Very Fun Fairfield Flag Days tomorrow. Come see us! Our Fallen Heroes float will be in the parade and we will also be set up in the Park for the day. This is such a great event! (Over 100 years of practice might have something to do with that.)🤗 We hope to see you!!
