A community roadmap for public health and safety has been built. Now the real work begins.
The Safe & Healthy Spokane Task Force released 14 recommendations designed to transform our region's approach to public safety and behavioral health. Developed through thoughtful dialogue, cross-sector collaboration, and a commitment to hearing diverse perspectives, these recommendations are now in the hands of our region's elected leaders.
Yesterday was not the finish line. It was the starting point. The future of a safer, healthier Spokane depends on all of us continuing the work together.
We are grateful to have served as a key convener alongside: Downtown Spokane Partnership, Spokane Valley Chamber of Commerce, Waters Meet Foundation, and Avista Utilities.

This week’s Member Monday spotlight is on Knudtsen Chevrolet!
Family-owned and operated since 1939, Knudtsen Chevrolet has been a key part of the fabric of the Inland Northwest. For generations, they've helped keep our region moving while building a reputation rooted in passion, excellence, legacy, and transparency.
One of our favorite traditions? Their annual Grad Night Giveaway, where one lucky high school graduate drives away with a car of their own. It’s just one example of how Knudtsen Chevrolet continues investing in the community.
Their team continues to go the extra mile for Spokane and we’re proud to have them as a GSI partner! Check them out here: https://f.mtr.cool/hiqgzfeckv

That message came through loud and clear at the Downtown Spokane Partnership's State of Downtown breakfast this morning!
Downtown Spokane is beyond full of possibility. Our team left encouraged by the momentum, investment, and collaboration driving our urban core forward. While challenges remain, today's event was a great reminder that progress is happening and that Spokane is at its best when we work together.
Thank you to Emilie Cameron, Mayor Lisa Brown, and Julia Y. Huang for helping paint such a compelling vision for our downtown's future.
And we're especially excited to see Chris Bovey's "Vintage Alley" come to life!

We’re excited to restart Member Mondays! And today we get to highlight one Spokane's best: The Inlander
Like many across our region, we look forward to picking up a copy each week to explore some of the Inland Northwest’s most thoughtful coverage of local arts, entertainment, culture, and community. Local, independent, and free since 1993, The Inlander has become a true Spokane fixture, and we’re grateful for their continued investment in the vibrancy of our region.
