We exist to meet real the needs of kids!

06/11/2026

Yesterday at One Heart, we celebrated our final birthdays of the school year with BBQ, cake, and lots of smiles. ❤️

As we head into the summer months, we’re excited to continue gathering every Wednesday and creating fun, meaningful experiences for the kids we love so much.

We are incredibly thankful for another amazing school year in the books for 2026. Watching these kids grow, laugh, learn, and build relationships has been such a blessing.

Thank you to everyone who supports and pours into this next generation. We can’t wait to see what this summer brings! ☀️🎉

The school year may be over, but the impact on a child’s life is just beginning. ❤️🔥

Sometimes the vision isn’t complicated… it’s simply to fill the room. ❤️

Fill it with laughter, kids, games, warm meals, smiles, and a place where children feel loved and safe.

We’re so excited to spend time with the kids, make the foods they love, play games, and continue pouring into their hearts.

One Heart IS making an impact on the kids in the Spokane community, and we’re grateful to be part of it every single week. 🙌🏼

These sweet little girls melted our hearts with these notes. 💕

We didn’t ask them to make these notes… they did it completely on their own with their thankful little hearts. And honestly, that’s what makes it so precious. When love and gratitude come naturally from a child’s heart, it hits differently. ❤️

This is exactly why we love serving at One Heart.

These kids are so thankful, loving, and grateful, and it is truly a blessing to be a blessing.

Being able to reach the kids in our community means so much to us.

We love One Heart so much and we love every precious child God brings through our doors. 🙌🏼

There’s something so special about One Heart. ❤️

These kids aren’t just part of a program… they’re family to us. The laughter…the hugs…the games…the dinners…the prayers…the moments we all stand together hand in hand…it’s the most precious part of what we do.

Getting to love on these kids and create a safe place where they feel seen, valued, and loved is truly a gift from God.

One Heart is more than a building.
It’s people loving people well. ❤️

WE LOVE ONE HEART

Here is an encouraging update from our food room lead, Deb Folden. " We've fed a total of 3,321 people so far in the Food Room at One Heart Spokane.
Broken down that's 152 new adults/60 children and 1,309 returning adults/335 children.
The Food Room visits seem to be trending upwards each week. In 2025 we had 528 visits and are at 611 so far.
We are seeing more families come through. Mothers are visiting several food banks for enough food to feed their children and families. Families seem to be living in a more communal way. In talking to these Mothers, they are feeding their parents) or siblings and their children. "
