Gypsytroll
Custom Scalemail, drinking horns, leather tankards, chainmail accessories, chainmail whips
28/08/2017
Ok friends... it is with heavy heart that I say that for right now, Gypsy Troll is closed. After I move and life settles down again, I will reopen.
There are going to be several changes. Chainmail has become a very busy competition. I will still have chainmail available and anything is possible for a custom order.
We will be expanding into more cosplay items and more into my equestrian loves.

Look what Tom found!!!
I sold this set of armor to a active duty Marine who just happened to be in the same hotel as Norwescon. He was on leave from the Sand Box. I have a huge soft spot for our Armed Forces and gave him a great deal. This is a huge piece of heat treated nickle plated steel weighing about 50 or 60 lbs.

It occurs to me that I have none of my sewing on this page... The pink bridesmaid dresses are my work. My first non-medieval/cosplay order.
Sorry to all my friends! But every once in a while facebook tells me about any friends who have not 'liked' my business! Come on, let see if we can get up to 30 likes!!!
Too many things have gone wrong lately...
We are not going to be able to attend Rustycon this year...
sadness....
Now that my back has recovered from the weekend's fun. It is time to get back to work.
Tomorrow I will start the careful process of turning a horse tail into memories. The tail will be washed and conditioned, split ends trimmed off.
Two wonderful ladies want bracelets, but I know I can do a lot more for them!
I am going to start with a braided bracelet for each of them.
I think pedants are defiantly also needed. I am seeing a thin braid in a heat around a small picture of Seahawk with the back also a weave of horse tail.
Then, I am seeing a wall decoration for each of them. Picture frames of braided hair.
Lastly, wooden cups with a collage of Seahawk's pictures, his name in a braid of tail, and the handles also in tail. Everything will be sealed with food grade epoxy.
Rest well, Seahawk, you are missed.
For the last week or so, I have been getting daily notifications of people viewing this page.. how about stopping and commenting something?
Tell me what you want to see, where you are viewing from, where you heard about us, or just a smile! I hope everyone is having a great day.
Ug my plans for pictures has not happened yet... hang in there, they will happen!
So this week I am going to start putting metal rims on the drinking horns that I have finished. They are probably going to get a coat of epoxy over the top of the metal, but I will see how it comes out before making a final decision.
I look forward to seeing how they come out. I have over 20 horns with different decorations and 40 more that could be done custom or will get decorations. I love the horns!
I have not done an update in a while. Worldcon was great to go to if a bit lacking in sales. The good news is that it allowed us to workout most if not all of the kinks of accepting Visa and Mastercards!
Give me another week or two for recovery then I will start posting pics of current inventory and prices. This is going to be the start of a wonderful era for my little business!!
Watch for us at Rustycon!!!!
We survived!!!
We met a lot of great people, did a lot of fun networking, did some playing, and of course selling!
The packing has started!!
Slowly all the goodies I have been working on with help from my family, and goodies from other shows are getting condensed and packed for safe travel to the convention! One day and a wake up!!!
