rynesandberg23 Flashback Friday, In Malibu Ca. Prayers and thoughts to the firefighters doing a tough job! They catch a break! I'm doing my regular things and very active after first treatment on Monday. Little fever and severe back aches for a night then had a good night sleep, second day in hospital, went home Wednesday and doing what I do ever since! Holiday Spirit is present and so is God! Looking forward to whole family around for Holidays. The Best medicine going! Everyone have a joyous and loving Christmas Season this year! Peace.

Baseball Hall of Fame, the city of Chicago, and all my loyal fans, I want to share an update on my prostate cancer. Unfortunately we recently learned the cancer has relapsed, and it has spread to other organs. This means that I'm back to more intensive treatment. We will continue to be positive, strong, and fight to beat this. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers for me and my family. - Ryne Sandberg

rynesandberg23 What an Honor receiving the Living Legend Award from Louisville Slugger! First class event with Tour of factory, having my model bat made in less than a minute before my eyes, S333 model. The vault of old bats of all models ever made was a big hit! The wood room storing future bats wood amazing. Met a few Hillerich family members of generations that go back to start of Company 1840! The whole Staff fun to be with, HOFers! I really enjoyed the sold out crowd of Louisville Cubs Fans who attended! Thank you I'm honored!

rynesandberg23 Thankful for my childhood Heroes! Besides Pete Rose, Roman Gabriel and Walt Clyde Frazier when I was in grade school and beyond, my Sister and Brother from Seattle area visited Us for few days. Heroes Maryl and Del brought the stories and reminiscing of my life as a youngster! Thankful for all the support and prayers from all of you! rynesandberg23 Thanks for the thoughts and support from The Bollinger Canyon Little League Team out of San Ramon, California! I'll be pulling for your Team this baseball season and hope you guys are working on the basic fundamentals of the game! Play the game right and pull for your teammates to be the best and always practice like it's the game speed! Coaches do a lot of game situation drills and put players in those spots so when it's game time good play will happen. Cutoffs, routine plays made, keep double play in order, get bunts down, put the bat on the ball with men on base and use whole field with line drive and hard ground ball approach, pitchers throw strikes stay ahead of the count! rynesandberg23 Okay it's Friday, Monday sneaking up on us! Round #3 right around the corner. I say Us because my life Partner and best friend, Margaret is amazing! She is literally doing everything in her power to make me comfortable and at ease! Positive attitude, honesty and love is who she is, so I can't ask for a better Teammate going through this journey. I'm so appreciative and doing so well because of her. We are going to WIN and look back at this as a challenge that we conquered together! Can't wait! Till then little anxiousness and keep the calendar moving attitude, but also making sure I thoroughly enjoy these days spent with Margaret! Feeling good and getting around the town great! Early evening Middle School volleyball games winning at 7th and 8th grade levels. W's for both! Positive vibes and Chemo kicking some Ass! 🦏2️⃣3️⃣

rynesandberg23 Thanks for All the prayers and thoughts, God is Good! It's been 2 weeks since Chemo #2 and all good days. Chilled at Skyzone Trampoline Park, and dinner at Shore Acres! Family gathering this weekend for a birthday celebration! What a Beautiful Day! 🦏2️⃣3️⃣💪

rynesandberg23 Well, second round of Chemo under belt! Met with my terrific Team Docs prior, Dr. Schaeffer and Dr. Vanderweele of Northwestern Hospital, Chicago. Little anxious going in but knocked it out with little stress. Last 2 days first bout of nausea. Managing symptoms with meds and still having pain free days and comfortable around the house and running few errands with cautionary habits, masked up. Before I get too far into this journey, I want to stress awareness, testing and Dr. visits to check Prostate! Early detection is important and more manageable, I think! Sporting the light blue for Prostate Awareness as the journey continues. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers! Love🦏2️⃣3️⃣
