Representing our clients and our profession in Washington, DC last week was an incredible opportunity. Equally meaningful was the chance to meet with Montana’s Senators and Representatives to discuss the issues that matter most to the families, service members, and communities we serve.
These conversations help ensure that the voices of First Command advisors and the clients who rely on them are heard by those helping shape policy. Advocacy is about more than our industry. It is about protecting access to trusted financial guidance and helping families build stronger futures.

Happy , and a heartfelt thank-you to all the women who have served our nation.
Happy Women Veterans Day!
As a Navy veteran, I've had the privilege of serving alongside some truly remarkable women. They’ve led teams, overcome challenges, broken barriers, and proven time and again that strength, leadership, and service know no gender.
One of my favorite things about the military is that it creates a bond that spans generations. Looking at photos like this, I'm reminded that while uniforms, branches, and eras may change, the commitment to serving something bigger than ourselves remains the same.
Today, we celebrate the women who answered the call to serve and thank them for the impact they've made on their units, their communities, and our nation.
To all the women veterans out there: thank you for your service. And if you're a veteran, who was one woman in uniform who made a lasting impact on you?

Financial planning is never a solo effort, and neither is serving our clients.
Behind every advisor is a team of professionals working together to share ideas, solve challenges, and provide thoughtful guidance. By collaborating with colleagues across the company and leveraging the resources, research, and support available through our Home Office, we're able to bring a broader perspective to every client relationship.
Whether it's navigating complex financial situations, staying informed on industry changes, or exploring strategies tailored to a client's goals, teamwork helps ensure we're delivering the best possible experience.
Most importantly, our collaborative approach means clients benefit from the collective knowledge and experience of an entire organization, not just a single advisor.

Is one of your goals for 2026 to become a homeowner? If so, now’s a great time to start thinking through how that decision can shape your overall financial plan.
Buying a home is exciting, but it also comes with a few moving parts that are easy to overlook early on.
Things like:
• How much flexibility you want in your monthly budget
• What your emergency savings should look like as a homeowner
• Upfront costs beyond just the down payment
• How this fits into your longer term goals
I’ve had a lot of conversations where someone is “almost ready,” but just needs help connecting the dots between where they are now and what taking that next step really looks like.
The good news is, a little planning ahead of time can make the whole process feel a lot more manageable and a lot less stressful.
Since it’s , it’s a great time to take that first step and get clear on what homeownership could look like for you.
Quick cash. Long-term cost. Some personal loans may do more harm than good.
