The Central Asian Shepard marks all our boxes we need in a LGD!!! So excited to have him on the farm and start his training for our farm!

These two have been enjoying getting to know each through the fence.. we will be moving horses around here this week. So these two can play!!

We may all be muddy mess and it was downpouring rain when we got home. Lyric took everything with ease and was so willing! He is such a cool little guy!! He will be in his temporary pen until we can move move fraya to her own pen. Than he will go in with Whisper!

🤎Meet Bogatur, aka Bo.🤎.

He is a Central Asian Shepard, aka The Alabay/alabi Dog.

They are large, ancient livestock guardian breed known for its strength, independence, and protective nature, originating from the vast Central Asian region, that are built for extreme heat or cold. Which we have both weather types in Washington..They also love their families!

Since the loss of our very beloved LGD, "Ogma", whos gave us everything we needed and want in an LGD. It took us a year of research and visiting breeders if LGD to find the perfect match. And these big teddy bears check all our boxes.

We are so excited to have livestock protection again!

This is a hard post to make. After 9 wonderful years of riding and showing, Fraya has spent the last 1.5 years retired and transitioning into her next career as a broodmare—one she truly excels at and loves.

Fraya has truly done it all, both in and out of the show ring. She has pushed cows, is a phenomenal trail horse, and has earned ApHC show points in Ranch Pleasure, Ranch Rail, Ranch Trail, Reining, and Gaming (barrels, poles, figure-8, and keyhole). She has also carried flags, participated in drill work, and marched in parades.

She crosses well with just about any discipline and is an easy breeder via live cover, either hand or pasture. In a herd setting, she may try to be the “top dog,” but settles quickly once corrected. Fraya is an excellent mother with easy deliveries and a strong maternal instinct. She consistently outproduces herself and stamps her foals with a great mind and solid conformation.

Fraya is lame at the trot and canter due to a pasture-related soft tissue shoulder injury and issues with her front right foot. She is broodmare and pasture sound only, no longer ridable!

Easy to handle, vet, trailer, and for the farrier.
