Helping spiritually curious women trust their inner wisdom. Sacred work. Real life. A little laughter.
Sometimes I think we underestimate the power of saying things out loud.
Not because the universe is waiting to grant our every wish.
But because the people around us can't support dreams they never hear.
I wasn't asking for a museum membership. I simply shared something that would bring me joy.
Someone was listening.
Maybe today is a good day to let someone know what would make you smile.
You never know where an honest conversation might lead.
đ
I Was Just Thinking Out Loud...
A few weeks ago, I casually mentioned to a group of friends that I'd love to see the LEGO exhibit at our local museum before it closed.
I wasn't asking for anything.
I was just thinking out loud.
A few minutes later, one of the women offered me a gift certificate for a free annual family membership.
I drove home thinking about the museum. Then I realized...that wasn't what stayed with me.
It was noticing that I had simply said, "Thank you."
Years ago, I probably would have politely declined.
Funny how we sometimes discover we've grownânot because life changes, but because our response does.
Have you ever surprised yourself by responding differently than the "old you" would have?
Iâve been thinking about how often we assume growth should feel dramatic.
Big goals.
Big changes.
Big declarations.
But a surprising amount of my favorite moments started with something much smaller, like listening to that inner voice when it whispers, "That sounds interesting.â
Not every meaningful thing in life arrives looking important (and probably most don't). Sometimes it looks like:
Trying a different café.
Saying yes to an invitation.
Reading a book.
Starting a conversation.
Doing something with absolutely no measurable outcome.
Not everything that expands your life has to change your life.
Some things simply remind you that youâre alive.
That counts too (big time!)

Current reminder to self:
You donât always have to do things because theyâre useful.
Sometimes something is worth doing simply because it expands you (like attending a Silent Book Club reading event at a local cafe).
Coffee.
A good book.
A different environment.
A tiny bit of courage.
Thatâs enough.
Life doesnât always expand because of big decisions.
Sometimes it expands because we followed one small thread of curiosity.
A conversation.
An invitation.
A random idea.
Something that makes us quietly thinkâŠ
âThat sounds interesting.â
I think we dismiss these moments because they seem too ordinary to matter.
But ordinary moments have introduced me to friendships, ideas, adventures, and entire chapters I never would have planned.
So this week Iâm paying attention to what makes me lean forward.
Whatâs quietly calling your attention these days?
One question that quietly changed how I make decisions:
How do I want to BE today?
Not accomplish.
Not prove.
Not optimize.
Just, how do I want to be?
And a second question:
What do I want to ENJOY today?
Simple questions.
Unexpectedly powerful answers.
Sometimes alignment isnât a huge breakthrough. Sometimes itâs one moment that feels more like you.
Tiny reminder:
Your future self may not need a five-year plan.
She (or he) may need:
â five quiet minutes
đ one honest question
đ one decision that feels more like yourself (you know, not performing, not living up to someone's expectation, not trying to prove your worth/value - a decision that feels good to your soul).
What if clarity isnât hiding?
What if itâs waiting for enough space to speak?

For a long time, I thought the goal was to collect enough achievement badges to finally feel like I was doing life correctly.
The job.
The relationship.
The house.
The things that looked successful from the outside.
As it turns out (and I know you already know this), accomplishment and self-worth are not the same thing.
These days I ask a different question:
What do I want my life to feel like?
Not perform like.
Not look like.
Feel like.
A couple years ago I did an exercise where instead of planning goals, I imagined tiny scenes from my ideal life.
One of mine was surprisingly ordinary:
Sitting at my computer, checking my bank account, and feeling abundant.
This imagined vision wasnât glamorous. It wasnât spiritual. And it sure wasnât impressive.
But it did feel like relief, freedom, and expansion.
That moment taught me something important: your truest desires donât always arrive dressed as someone elseâs version of extraordinary.
Hereâs a question for you: Since nobody is grading your life - what would you want?
(And yes, coffee counts as part of the vision.)

I recently took a little trip to Nelson, BC.
And it wasnât quite the smooth, scenic getaway I had imagined.
There was a moment where I realized I had been following directions⊠but not necessarily following myself.
It made me think about how often we do that in life. We follow the plan. We do what makes sense.
We check the boxes.
And then one day we realize weâve arrived somewhere⊠but it doesnât quite feel like us.
Iâm not against plans. I still like a good itinerary.
But Iâm becoming more interested in paying attention to what still fits.
To listening and to trusting what I know before outsourcing every decision.
Sometimes wisdom doesnât arrive as certainty.
Sometimes it arrives as a quiet little nudge.
Trust your inner wisdom.
