As you patiently wait for the litter of pups, you wonder what color they will be. When working with a color that I have chosen to avoid the “million shades of red/blue/black/etc “ color clash, the scariest moment is opening the powder coating oven door. Sadly, every electronic screen shows the color sample a bit different so I cannot rely on the pictures on the suppliers website. And once I have the powder in hand, it’s still a completely different color than what comes out of the oven.
What I am positive of is that it takes forever to sand blast off if I have chosen wrong.
Yes, it can be a tense moment waiting for the timer to go off. This time, I was happy to add another powder to the list of colors that I have used.

We are still limited in panel colors but I am working with a new vendor to see what they can do to include something beyond black and white. Of course, I always have the option to go with bare panels and powder coat the entirety of the crate one color, it just takes time to get the materials here.

Obviously, weather can be a nightmare for a lot of things, but for getting crates shipped, it becomes a worst case scenario at times. Found out with this set that there is no control once we hand them over to the carrier.
