On the yoga mat, he’s there—steady, present, sometimes literally holding me up when I wobble.
And off the mat… it’s the same kind of support. Quiet, grounded, unwavering.

Life moves fast, our world is full of movement, music, and creation… but these small moments of connection are the ones that stay with me the most.

Grateful for a partner who meets me in the stillness, supports me in the chaos, and walks beside me through it all.

This is the kind of training that changes how you dance ✨
On May 16, Hip Circle welcomes from the Bellydance Evolution family, bringing insight that comes from real performance, not just rehearsal.
You’ll work on control, clarity, and technique that actually holds up on stage, under lights, and in front of an audience.
Focused, practical, and built to move you forward.
Don’t sit this one out 🔥

Back in Costa Rica, where time softens… and so do we.

One of my favorite parts of this retreat isn’t just slowing down the movement, it’s slowing down the mind. No rushing off to the next thing, no packed schedules… just space to breathe, connect, and actually be with each other (and maybe linger a little longer over coffee and good conversation ☕).

We’re dancing in this spectacular studio overlooking the jungle and the ocean, with howler monkeys providing our very wild soundtrack.

Feeling so grateful to guide this beautiful group of dancers from around the world, one step at a time, one shimmy at a time, as we find our flow across the floor and within ourselves.

And my heart is full celebrating Dance’s 20-year retreat anniversary. I’ve been part of this journey since the beginning, and every time I return, it feels like coming home 🫶

There’s something about a drum solo that always pulls me in.
It speaks a language beyond words—raw, rhythmic, and deeply human. No matter where we come from, we feel it. We connect to it.

This moment holds such a special place in my heart—sharing the stage in a live drum solo with the incredible Amir Sofi. There’s nothing quite like the energy of that exchange… the conversation between dancer and musician, the spontaneity, the trust, the magic unfolding in real time.

Forever grateful for moments like these that remind me why I fell in love with this art form.

There was a time when I stood in front of the mirror and only saw what I wanted to change. Years of questioning, refining, and striving shaped me, but so did the quiet moments of learning to soften toward myself.

Today, I feel more at home in my body than ever before. The lines on my face no longer feel like something to hide. They feel like proof of a life fully lived, of lessons learned, of resilience and growth.

I have come to understand that beauty deepens when it is rooted from within. When I care for my body, nourish it, move it, and honor it as the instrument that carries me through this life, something shifts. It is no longer about chasing an ideal. It is about honoring truth.

This sense of comfort and security did not arrive overnight. It was built with intention, with discipline, and with a commitment to seeing myself with kindness.

Aging has become a privilege I welcome. It brings clarity, strength, and a deeper connection to who I am. And in that space, I feel a kind of beauty that no mirror alone could ever define.
