True favor comes not from what we can offer others, but from walking in integrity before God.

Just as silver and gold are refined by fire, Proverbs teaches that the Lord tests and refines the human heart. Life’s pressures often reveal what is truly inside us. Today’s devotional reminds us that difficult seasons are not meaningless—they can become part of God’s refining process. The fire may be uncomfortable, but God uses it to shape character, deepen faith, and draw us closer to Him.

Today we honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.
Their sacrifice reminds us that freedom is never free, and we are deeply grateful for the courage and selflessness they showed.
As we reflect this Memorial Day, we pray for the families who carry the loss of loved ones and for all who have served.
