My review of Wicked: For Good (2025)

Ultimately feels less like a part 2 to one complete project and more like a sequel. Not necessarily a bad thing. Tonal differences for sure, though. I'd have liked a bit more detail in the world-building here, and for the exposition to have been fleshed out.

That said, it's quite a tackle to take on several adaptations and form another whole piece of architecture.

I'm left with think pieces and hours of discourse to sift through, and I'm never mad about that.

A wicked gnarly body horror that's got specifically paced narrative and some excellent use of POV shots and a great blend of practical nasty with rather undetectable CG. Amamra is fantastic, exhibiting visceral range. And that ending? Hell fu***ng yes. Goring, gutting, good s**t.
