From pieces of old broken furniture, building materials that have been thrown away, broken electronics and really anything else, we can make something new and useful out of it. Our favorite, and most readily available material are pallets. Almost anything can be made from pallet wood.We pride ourselves on making objects that are unique, creative and made from recycled materials, but are hard to t

I found four executive chairs on the side of the road several year ago and have held on to them with the idea to reupholstering them. I took one apart and it was stuffed with horse hair. It was cheap and available at the time but all the stuffing had to be replaced.. If I was going to reupholster all of them it was going to cost a fortune. I decided to repurpose them instead. This one was turned into an end table. I evened out the base, painted it turquoise, and made a top out of pallets.

Small cabinet I constructed from a repurposed desk drawer. The door is from a vintage stereo cabinet that I have been slowly parting out for other projects. I painted it yellow then painted the globe with a flat grey.

Lamp stool: made from a stool found in a dumpster, a broken desk lamp, and the wiring from a broken table lamp. I had been thinking about making this for a long time, but with many projects you have to wait until the materials to appear somewhere.

I was at a thrift store and came across a box containing salesman samples, and information promoting the use of American hardwoods. Each sample was about the size of an index card. I'm not into buying virgin wood but I'm into using the now discarded samples. I made a box with a maple, oak, and an elm card. (Sounds like some sort of Magic the Gathering Ents play.) The handle is a unique recycled nut and bolt with a rubber inlay in the bolt.

My first piece has been consigned. Needful Things Furniture and Decor has agreed to consign three of my pieces. Pictured is a dresser drawer I turned into a three shelf cabinet. They also consigned a bookshelf and a pencil box I made.

Another tea cabinet. Many pallets are made from tulip wood. It grows fast, is very strong and light compared to its strength. It is also crazy beautiful. That is the woods natural color. All I had to do was put a natural stain on it and it came right through. I made the stencils for the crow.

I bought a woodworking book, that was published in 1972, and it had plans for a tea cabinet. I modified it by making it a little bigger and made this. I love this dark grey color and wad able to use both hinges and a handle taken from the trash.

Another first aid box I made. At my last show I had a Red Cross nurse fall in love with this. Not enough to buy it, but I appreciated her connection to it and to her past.
