Many recently arrived from our local partner, SCRAPS, helping ensure animals in our community have access to the care, treatment, and second chances they need. Some are tiny kittens and puppies who are too young to safely stay in a shelter environment. Others are recovering from illness, awaiting specialist appointments, or healing from injuries.

Among those waiting:
• A sweet puppy with a fractured leg needs a quiet place to recover.
• A young cat is awaiting an appointment with an eye specialist.
• Several kittens and cats are being treated for upper respiratory infections.
• A 2-year-old Black Lab mix is waiting for a cardiology workup.
• Many more simply need a safe place to grow, heal, and prepare for adoption.

The good news? You can help.

Fostering often requires less time than people think, but the impact can be life-changing for an animal in need.

We provide:

Hero’s gotta be strong and he’s gotta be fast—all of which he is!

This 2-year-old fluffy fighter is ready to save your home from boredom. Hero is curiously cautious, always ready to pounce on any villainous mouse, fly, or ant.

Bob (gray tabby) and Marley (orange tabby) were born in our care and have been chilling in their foster home since. Now, they’re ready to bring a little harmony to your heart and your home (after they use it as a jungle gym first).

Update: ADOPTED! We have one goal for Thor today: Get. Him. Home.

Thor is 4 years old, approximately 100% sweetheart, and one of those dogs who simply wants to be wherever his people are.

He’s the kind of dog who leans in for affection, happily greets everyone he meets, and seems genuinely convinced that every person is a friend he just hasn’t met yet. He’s done well with other dogs, hasn’t been around cats, and we suspect he’d happily accept humans of all ages into his fan club.

The truth is, Thor isn’t loving kennel life.

He’s a dog who craves companionship and connection. In fact, he’s been spending time hanging out with our admin team, soaking up attention, lounging nearby, and reminding us that what he really wants is to be part of a family.

No dog belongs in a kennel, but Thor especially seems ready to trade shelter life for a couch, a routine, and people to call his own.

We haven’t had Thor long, and for his sake, we’d love to keep it that way.
