We had babies born an hour apart at the Birthcenter and they got to meet at their 6 week visits! I love hearing the mamas talk about how they motivated each other and maybe even caught a sense of competition to see who would actually birth first. ♥️ These women, both first-time birthers, had every reason to be proud!

Being judged against a broken system, with different, non-evidence based standards and liability control, is wrong. Choosing a Midwife is choosing ancient wisdom, combined with modern, safe interventions for common problems, and a level of care that exceeds what obstetrics are offering to low risk women. Obstetricians are surgical experts with skills for highly complicated issues. We love them for their role. However, most pregnancies do not require them.

Baby #10 for Mama, #1 natural Son (though he counted all hers as his too) for Daddy. We have been in her world for 17 years in this practice. ❤️ Some birthdays are just their own kind of wonderful.
Happy Birthday, 7-26-26, David Ophir!
