Find it hard to relax for adjustments? Or find that you just don't adjust well without getting a massage first? Try our roller table before your next adjustment. Simple design but effective. The first fitness challenge is upon us. We will be tracking the scores here in the clinic with patient initials and times on a white board. You can submit 2 times. This way if you want to work on the challenge and improve you can. The goal of these challenges are to challenge people to step outside their comfort zones and push each other to improve. Adult life for the majority of use becomes more sedentary with time, leading to muscle mass loss. Lots of back, neck and shoulder injuries/issues come from this loss of muscle strength and ability to stabilize these areas.
Submissions need to have a video of their submission so there is no cheating. You can submit through the comments to this link or you can submit your video directly to us via DM if you want your privacy. Or you can come in and give it a try here in the clinic. We know that people don't like being on video, so we are allowing you to come in and get timed by one of our staff members.
Please only participate if you do NOT have any serious injuries, have pain while performing the challenge. If you are not sure ask your doctor or myself the next time you see me.
Again I want to help people reach their goals and push to get stronger. Anyone can participate. Winner will get some cool Hager Chiropractic swag and a set of yoga wheels.
This weeks challenge is the dreaded plank. Plank hits all the main stabilizers of the neck, shoulder, hips and core.
Ages 18–39: 45–90+ seconds for the general population; 60–120 seconds for those who are more fit
Ages 40–59: 30–75 seconds for the general population; 45–90 seconds for those who are more fit
Ages 60+: 20–60 seconds for the general population; 30–75 seconds for those who are more fit
World record is 9 hours, 38 min and 47 sec.

Had the opportunity to represent chiropractic for the Riverside Middle School Career Fair. Had a blast! The kids had great questions. I think they also did a great job on my sign!
