Our second session of Summer Camp was full of adventure, new friendships, and meaningful ways to serve! Campers explored Spokane on a city tour, volunteered at Second Harvest, visited Fairview Assisted Living, took on the UGM Camp challenge course, and completed a downtown scavenger hunt. They also wrapped up the week with Campers with a Cause, dreaming up ways they can bring more compassion to their own communities.
We’re so proud of this group for stepping up, trying new things, and going for gold in compassion. We can’t wait to see how they’ll continue making a difference!

What a fantastic opportunity for our campers!
GENERATION ALIVE
Kindness Citation SPKPD-00089
Officer Richardson with the Spokane Police Department had the honor of presenting the Generation Alive staff with a Kindness Citation in recognition of their outstanding service and dedication to the Spokane community.
The Generation Alive staff spent time with campers participating in the Spokane Police Department’s Police Activities League (PAL) program at a local community center recently. They had more than 113 campers in attendance, and the day was filled with leadership, service, and fun!
As part of a service project with Generation Alive, the campers worked together to pack apple cinnamon oatmeal bags that will be distributed to those in need throughout the community. It was inspiring to see so many young people giving back and learning the importance of serving others.
Thank you to Jeremy Affeldt (3-Time World Series Champion), Darrin Duty, Glo Cheevers, and the entire Generation Alive team for investing in the youth and partnering with the Spokane Police Department’s Police Activities League (PAL) program. Your leadership and commitment are making a lasting impact on the lives of young people and helping make Spokane a stronger, kinder community.
Keep impacting your community one kind act at a time!

🥇 Going for Gold in Compassion! 💙
Our Summer Camp students spent four incredible days learning that true leadership is found in serving others. From taking on the UGM Camp challenge course to sorting apples at Second Harvest, playing bingo with residents at Fairview Assisted Living, packing meals with the Police Activities League campers, touring the Police Academy, and handing out sandwiches, water, and encouraging notes in Riverfront Park, every experience helped students grow in compassion, confidence, and leadership.
Our Olympic themed camp reminded us that the greatest victory isn’t winning a medal. It’s choosing kindness, serving your community, and making a difference wherever you go. Thank you to all of our community partners for making this unforgettable week possible!
