Retro lighting on the Reel-Reel NFC / UHF RFID Hardware

We upgraded our printers so we can print and encode UHF RFID labels; adding to store soon. With Walmart and other retailer mandates this has been a common customer request. Also adding offline uhf ending to our next gen reel-reel hardware.

Today we learned what light gamma correction is. Your eye follows a curve of frequency (gamma curve) to allow you to have a high dynamic range so that you can see well both in the day and the night.

Lights such as monitors and LEDs have to correct for this curve so you perceive the frequency as the correct color. An alien without a gamma curve in their eyes would see totally different colors; what they actually are.

Both of these leds are orange, but the one on the left has been gamma corrected.

Should be a fun week.
