Meridian Farm

Derby field is mowed and ready to begin clean-up!! Young rider Evelyn on her boy Polaroid gave the ground a test run today and gave it the seal of approval 🐴 this field has a whole host of good memories and we’re excited to bring it back to life (and add some more fun stuff too!)

After a VERY long search, we are finally able to wish Allison a HUGE congratulations on her purchase of Selah VDE! Selah is an 8 year old Belgian Warmblood mare with a solid resume and an even better temperament. We’re so excited to see these two flourish together!

This past weekend, the Meridian team had a wonderful first show to kick off the 2026 season! Evelyn and Polo dominated in their first show together; Gia rode youngster Apollo who exceeded ALL expectations for a wonderful first show; Grace competed for the first time EVER with Edison, and Addie and Ed stepped out into the 3’ hunters with some excellent rounds; Avery piloted Polo around the 2’6” hunters for a clean sweep (her second time riding him ever!) and Margie and Emma each rode Pimlico into the top ribbons both days!

Whew! I think that’s everyone… with a slew of champion and reserve ribbons across the board, and a WHOLE lot of excellent learning moments in EVERY pair, we could not be more proud of these ladies and more excited for the season to come!! Thank you to the whole Meadow View team and all involved with Columbia Hunter Jumper Association for a great first outing for the season! And huge thanks to Hannah with Szendre Photography for these great shots!!

Jumps are set and ready for our first lessons in the new facility! We are beyond excited to begin this new chapter at Westar Ranch - both Kelsey and Robin have been at this farm in years past, and the opportunity to “come home” is sure a happy one. Hard to beat this indoor - exciting stuff!

It was a big weekend at Meridian Farm… first horse show of the season, followed immediately with a NEW home base! More information to come but we are a) SO PROUD of our amazing riders and b) SO excited to continue growing the MF team!

Not to worry - the move is all on good terms! We love our NSEC crew and have been so grateful for the last year there, but as our program grows we needed more space and the perfect opportunity arose. We are thrilled to be able to offer haul-in lessons, more stall space for new additions, and a whole lot of fun stuff in the works! (Derby field, anyone?👀)

Open wash racks means it’s officially spring for Meridian Farm!

Congratulations to the Sandquist family on their purchase of Polaroid! Polo is such a special boy, and we can’t wait to see where he and his new little girl will go together! Polo has an impressive resume and so much to teach, and we are all so excited to have him in the barn. 2026 is off to a very fun start!

We’ve got a rare opening for a half lease on the handsomest boy, “Bright Idea”! Edison is a big-bodied 16.3h, Warmblood gelding, 10 years old and the ultimate old soul. This sweet boy, will build your confidence in the saddle and have you enjoying every minute. He has extremely smooth gates, making the Equitation ring a blast. He is competitive in all three rings and currently schooling 2’9”-3’ with his young rider; Steady Eddie is a superstar. PM if you are looking for your next competitive mount for the 2026 show season! 😄

A huge (albeit slightly belated) congratulations to team member Gia on the purchase of her new partner, Apollo! Apollo is a beautiful young gelding from our friends in Southern California - thank you JK Williams and Savannah Feigner for your help in matching these two! We are so excited to help Gia develop this handsome guy; great things ahead for Miss Gia and her bay boys!

Happy thanksgiving from all of us at Meridian Farm! We are beyond grateful for our incredible group of clients (including those not pictured!!) and their wonderful horses, and a team of trainers, barn staff, and wonderful barn owners that do everything for the benefit of the horse. We are so thankful to have a beautiful facility to call our home, and our horses are happy, healthy, and loving their jobs - we couldn’t ask for better! (We are also beyond thankful for our newest addition to the team - Katie! This time next year we’ll have more photos of her to include🤪)
