The Lord is bringing you into a brand new season, but the enemy is trying to drag the past into the present to abort your future. Don't allow your emotions or negative thinking to consume you or control your reactions and responses.
Be prepared.
Know what triggers you and where your weak spots are.
Recognize the enemy’s bait. Don’t be lured into a trap.
Step back. Rise above the situation. See beyond it.
Respond prayerfully instead of reacting instinctively.
God will give you discernment, wisdom, and protection as you submit your mind, will, and emotions to Him.
He is risen!
Your life is truly a faith walk, and God is absolutely faithful. Though your understanding will fail you, God never will.

The love of Christ and His heart towards us is the most outstanding gift that we can receive. His love far out reaches anything you are going through. His love left His Father’s presence and came to the earth. His love went to the cross for you and I. No love is greater than to lay down his life for a friend. You and I are that friend. We can trust the love of Jesus and love Him in return.
The world is full of trouble but God has overcome the world. Therefore He has overcome any circumstance in your life. Trust Jesus because with Him you are an overcomer!
When Past Hurts Still Hurt
1. Acknowledge the hurt (Gen. 45:1,2,4)
2. Surrender your right to punish (Rom. 12:17 - 19)
3. Pray for them (Matt. 5:44)
4. Be open to reconciliation (Rom. 12:18)
5. Pray for divine strength, healing, and freedom
(2 Cor. 13:11, 2 Cor. 12:19, Matt. 19:26, Phil. 2:9 - 10)
Learn to give it to God and stop picking it up, looking at it, and talking about it all the time. This keeps the hurt/wound fresh and it never heals. ~ Pastor Kris Belfils
