i posted this 9 years ago. April 4th, 2017. i’m pretty positive i made it on an app called, “Poster Maker”. no idea what i was doing. the bracelets are killing me. 😂 i’ve been struggling a lot with my identity (fairly normal in sobriety) and seeing this was a nice reminder of how far i’ve come. i think little blörm would be really proud of big blörm. i think that i’m really proud of little blörm too for taking a big scary step into a foreign world. i don’t know man. anywho, i love you and the little you is probably really proud of the big you. 💜

Last night was a ball. I’m still big time cheesin and I am so incredibly grateful and honored to have been a part of last night’s show. Today marks one year of sobriety. I’ve been here before, but it’s a bit different this time around. It is with great relief that I am able to admit that I am an alcoholic. It took a lot of drinks for me to realize and accept. I used alcohol as a way to disassociate from my feelings. As a coping mechanism. All it managed to give me was a bunch of debt, stress, anxiety, depression. It caused me to isolate, all the while coming up with any and every excuse to not address the real underlying issues and in turn, drinking about it. It’s been a really long year and I’m so grateful for this new phase of life. Feels cool, gonna do it some more. In lieu of booze, I shifted to seltzer water. Specifically, which is the best no question. plz sponsor me polar. Anywho, I love you. Thank you to my love, for your unwavering love, support, and patience. Big shouts to my therapist for always keeping it a buck. And thank you to my friends in the Al Stone band ( for encouraging me to stay strong while on the road, and allowing space in the bus fridge for my polars. 😂 Here’s to more years of sobriety, music, friendship, & polar seltzers.
