After an impactful season with FreshVue, Feven will be moving on to her next adventure! Throughout her time with our team, Feven has helped strengthen our work, support our clients, and share FreshVue's story with our online community. While we're sad to see her go, we're excited for what's ahead.
Before she begins this next chapter, we asked her to reflect on what she's learned and what she'll take with her on the journey:
"I've learned that meaningful change happens when people are willing to slow down, listen deeply, and work through complexity together. I've also learned how transformative it can be to work with a team where you can make mistakes, learn from feedback, and show up as your authentic self.
Another lesson I'll carry with me is the idea of the 'and' that we often talk about at FreshVue: the understanding that multiple realities can coexist. It is bittersweet that I will no longer greet each of you as you walk through FreshVue's doors, and I am excited to begin a new chapter by pursuing a Master's in Arts and Cultural Management. It has been a joy to grow with the FreshVue team and alongside our partners!" 🩵
Many of us spend our lives collecting knowledge, experiences, and skills, all things that have significant impact on our capacity. But lasting growth happens when you expand the cup, growing your ability to hold complexity, navigate uncertainty, and see challenges in a new way.
Horizontal growth helps you do things better. For example, a manager might learn how to run more effective meetings, give clearer feedback, or use a new project management tool. These new skills can improve performance and confidence.
Vertical growth helps you see, think, and act differently. That same manager may come to realize that not every problem has a single right answer, that different perspectives can hold value, and that uncertainty is something to navigate rather than avoid.
At FreshVue, we help people develop practical skills while also expanding their capacity to navigate complexity, adapt to change, and lead in an uncertain world.
May flew by fast! We’re incredibly grateful for every conversation, connection, and workshop we had the chance to be part of this month. Thank you to everyone who showed up, shared ideas, asked questions, and made each session so meaningful. Looking forward to everything ahead 🩵

Explore the workshop box materials we use to create immersive experiences for leaders wherever they’re joining from!
Growth is not easy. We ask people to slow down, reflect honestly, engage in challenging conversations, and sometimes confront the gap between intention and impact.
Our materials help virtual sessions feel more tangible, engaging, and human, giving participants something to interact with as they learn and reflect together.

No two people naturally work the same way. The challenge is that most teams never actually talk about those differences, so they end up misreading each other instead.
The Kolbe System gives people practical language for understanding how they naturally take action, solve problems, and move work forward when they are free to be themselves.
That shift can change how teams communicate, collaborate, lead, and navigate complexity together.
Swipe to get a glimpse into Stacey & Eva’s Kolbe results and how two very different ways of working can still create a strong partnership and alignment.

Last week, we kicked off our Organizational Readiness & Succession Planning engagement with Architects West Inc. The energy their team brought to the room said everything about the work ahead!
We're honored to walk alongside them into this next chapter of leadership, growth, and organizational evolution. Through our integrated approach, this engagement balances immediate priorities with long-term health, grounded in the trust we've built together over more than five years of partnership.
The work ahead will:
❏ Deepen understanding of individual and collective strengths
❏ Strengthen leadership capacity through feedback, coaching, and alignment
❏ Clarify roles and decision-making to improve collaboration and client service
❏ Provide practical tools to support transition, mentorship, and long-term sustainability
Excited for what’s next as we continue building the future together!

April is National Volunteer Month, and the return of Spokane Gives! Volunteering doesn’t look the same for everyone. At FreshVue, it shows up in different ways, from giving our time to opening our space, to supporting local organizations doing meaningful work.
Here are a few ways we’ve been showing up recently:
❏ We open our office space to host and support community events, including foster family gatherings.
❏ We invest in the Salish School of Spokane through fundraising and using our platform to increase their visibility.Salish School of Spokane
❏ We volunteer with the Sprague Union District and the PBIA to help strengthen our local district. Sprague Union District
❏ Eva invests in community building, serving on the boards of local organizations like the Whitworth Women 's Leadership Network Advisory Board and the GSI Executive Board. This year she's expanded that advocacy as Chair-Elect of the GSI Economic Development Committee, lending her skills and experience in facilitation and systems change. We encourage you to explore the ways you can better Spokane through VolunteerSpokane.org. You can find opportunities that match your time, skills, and what you care about.

Sustainability isn’t driven by convenience. At FreshVue, taking care of the Earth shows up in how we work every day. Here are some of the ways we put this into practice!
We choose to work with local businesses and designers who repurpose materials and give them new life.
We invest in solar energy to help power our office more sustainably.
We create materials in smaller, more intentional batches, focused on personalization over mass production.
In our office, we prioritize reuse and recycling to reduce waste and make more mindful use of everyday materials.
And we bring natural elements like plants and environmental imagery into our spaces to ground leadership development in the rhythms of nature, where growth, reflection, and change are part of the process.

"Just tell them what to do.”
But what if that’s exactly what’s holding your team back?
A lot of organizations are still operating in a unilateral control model, where decisions happen at the top and flow down. It can feel efficient until it starts costing you:
❏ Disengagement, people stop speaking up because it doesn’t feel like it matters.
❏ Defensiveness, feedback gets filtered and mistakes get hidden.
❏ Missed innovation, the best ideas never make it to the table.
Here is the shift we focus on at FreshVue: Moving from control to shared ownership of thinking and decisions.
Because when people are invited to think with you, not just execute:
❏ Engagement deepens
❏ Trust replaces defensiveness
❏ Ideas actually have room to grow

We hear this a lot at FreshVue, but what if your team is already motivated, and it’s just showing up differently than you expect?
Most people want to do their best. The challenge is understanding how they take action. What looks like resistance might actually be a different strength.
Through Kolbe, we’ve learned that everyone is action-oriented, just in different ways. When we don’t understand those differences, we can misread behavior and miss potential.
Unlock your team’s strengths by starting with your own! Go https://lnkd.in/g29je8RW or DM us to learn more about our Kolbe courses. Our virtual series starts on April 24th!
