Someone asked me a question on LinkedIn this week that I have been meaning to write a longer answer to for a while...it was about how we handle what he called the "evaluation problem" in AI systems — specifically, how do you measure whether an AI tool is actually amplifying expert judgment versus subtly overriding it? A key answer is relevant the Therapeutic Recreation / Recreational Therapy Methodologies and Assessment Tools, which we also use extensively at RPG Research and RPG Therapeutics

In parallel to volunteering at the 501(c)3 non-profit RPG Research, I've been working (initially part-time) helping Practicing Musician SPC (www.practicingmusician.com) scale their accessible and free music education platform.
They are a very close cousin to our philosophies, goals, and programs at RPG Research, and map directly to my personal philosophy of engaging in endeavors that further “Raising up the overall human condition through ethical innovation that amplifies human potential.”
They have made some amazing initial pilot partnerships with some of the largest music retailers and community center networks in North America to expand their programs from online-only, to now offering in-person programs at a community center near you (long-term goal).
To achieve this next phase of outreach and accessibility, they need your support today!
