Every class reminds me that rope isn't really about rope.
It's about slowing down.
Communicating.
Trusting.
Laughing when something doesn't go as planned.
Watching beginners discover confidence is one of the most rewarding parts of teaching, and I'm already looking forward to the next opportunity to share that experience.

One of the things I love most about this community is how quickly people come together when it's needed.
Over the last few days we've seen neighbors helping neighbors, businesses supporting one another, and our community showing incredible resilience.
Thank you to everyone who's been checking in, lending a hand, and supporting those affected by the fires.
We'll continue creating spaces where people can learn, connect, and support each other.

Due to the ongoing evacuation orders related to the Old Trails Fire in Spokane, we have made the difficult decision to postpone today's Beginner Burlesque Workshop.
The safety of our students, instructors, and community will always come first.
Rather than canceling the series, we will be shifting the entire workshop schedule back by one month. Today's Session 1 will now take place in September, and each remaining session will move back accordingly. If you are already registered, your registration will automatically transfer to the new Session 1 date. We will be updating everyone with the revised schedule as soon as it is finalized.
We know many of you have been looking forward to today, and we share your disappointment. Thank you for your understanding and patience as we navigate circumstances beyond anyone's control.
Our thoughts are with everyone affected by the fire, including the first responders and the families who have been impacted. Please stay safe, take care of one another, and we'll be back together in the studio soon.
We'll share the new dates as soon as they are confirmed.
