Spokane, how are we enjoying Cocktail Week?

We are incredibly excited to host Spokane native and award-winning trumpeter Jared Hall for an intimate jazz trio performance tomorrow night!

If you aren't familiar with Jared, he’s a powerhouse in the jazz world—a National Trumpet Competition winner and the current Director of Jazz Studies at Whitworth. He’s shared stages with icons like Terence Blanchard and Maria Schneider, and now he’s bringing that world-class talent back to our stage.

Even better? It’s Spokane Cocktail Week! Come celebrate with us, try our brand-new feature drinks, and enjoy the incredible post-bop stylings of a true master. Grab a drink, connect with friends, and kick off the weekend early.

Spokane Cocktail Week is officially here. If you aren’t familiar, it’s a citywide celebration of the local cocktail scene, which means over 40 bars are shaking up limited-time, creative drink menus all week long.

We’re jumping in with four brand-new featured drinks. Whether you want something rich and classic, crisp and floral, or a refreshing zero-proof mocktail, we’ve got a seat saved for you.

Spokane Sour

Buffalo Trace Bourbon, lemon, egg white, and a red wine float. Rich, robust, and a distinct twist on a classic whiskey sour. (And yes, the float is a canned wine. We’re not sorry.)

The Conservatory

Fords Gin, St. Germain, lime, and Fever-Tree Elderflower Tonic with a dash of cucumber. Floral, green, just a little wild, and named after the iconic greenhouse down at Manito Park.

Golden Hour

Diplomatico Mantuano Rum, cinnamon, and prunes with a dash of orange. A rich, tropical, stone-fruit profile kissed with warm spices.

No Wake Zone (Mocktail)

A zero-proof blend of strawberry, coconut, Earl Grey tea, and Seedlip Spice. Tastes exactly like a fresh strawberry smoothie and is built for warm weather. Best enjoyed horizontally.

Every cocktail at Emma Rue’s is built from scratch. Ingredients sourced, syrups made in-house, proportions deliberate. This is not a cocktail you’ll find anywhere else in Spokane.

The long weekend gives us a moment to step back and appreciate our lives, but it also asks us to look at the foundation those lives are built on.

Today, as we share a meal and time with family, let’s hold space for the brave men and women whose sacrifice made it all possible. Freedom is never free, and today we honor those who paid the ultimate price.

The tables are set, the lights are low, and the jazz is live tonight at Emma Rue’s. If you're looking for a place downtown to slow down, grab a proper cocktail, and just enjoy the music, our doors are open.

Join us again this Friday night. DJ Rosethrow takes over the evening, curating a blend of R&B, hip hop, funk, and jazz to set a completely fresh rhythm for the weekend.
