Rainy days mean sensory play! Whether it’s puffy paint, water play, or foam clay, we’re here to explore, create, and learn together. 🌧️✨

Sensory play helps support brain development, builds fine motor skills, encourages creativity, and gives children opportunities to explore the world through touch, movement, and imagination. It can also help calm an overbusy nervous system by giving children safe ways to regulate their bodies, process big feelings, and feel more grounded through play. Rain or shine, learning is always happening at GLOW!

School Age Summer Program registration is officially OPEN! ☀️🎉

We’re so excited for another summer full of adventures, friendships, and fun! This year our school age kiddos will also get to enjoy a brand new room for in-building days with space to create, play, relax, and explore together.

From daily field trips to nutritious meals included, every day brings something new. In past summers we’ve had everything from tie dye parties and Mobius days to talent shows, park adventures, messy art, water play, and more. Every year looks a little different, but one thing always stays the same… lots of fun, connection, and memories made together 💛

We can’t wait to spend the summer with you!

Fresh Market is in the house today from 3:00–5:30! 🥚🥕🍎

We have TONS of eggs available, so if you have an empty egg carton at home, bring it along to help make transportation easier!

We can’t wait to see everyone and share all the amazing fresh food with our community. 💛

A very special shoutout to Charlie's Produce - Spokane and Holt. One of Charlie’s Produce employees who is also a grandfather in our community donated a huge amount of fresh fruits and veggies for families to enjoy. We also want to thank Zilch, who faithfully comes every week to help drop off food. Zilch is a volunteer based program, and all the hard work they put in truly helps make this amazing community support possible.

If you would ever like to help support this work through donations, volunteering, or helping pass out food during Fresh Market days, we would greatly appreciate it! Please reach out to Zac Whitehouse at [email protected] or Latrese Aguilera at [email protected] for more information on how to get involved.

Thank you to everyone who helps make belonging, nourishment, and community care possible at GLOW while also helping cut down on food waste in Spokane 🌟

Preschool friends spent the morning making window art with shape stickers ☀️

Simple activities like this turn into big learning moments working on fine motor skills, shape recognition, creativity, and problem solving while creating alongside friends. We love watching children make spaces their own through play and art 💛
