One of the most amazing things about the Spokane Renaissance Faire is not the faire itself, its the community behind it.

This year, that community needs us.

The recent wildfires have forever changed the lives of hundreds of families across our region. Even as firefighters continue their incredible work, many families are already facing the long journey of rebuilding.

As a nonprofit organization, giving back has always been part of who we are. Last year, the Spokane Entertainers Guild donated more than $18,500 to organizations supporting hunger relief, local theatre programs, and disaster recovery efforts. This year, our charitable giving will be dedicated to local wildfire recovery.

Our hearts are with everyone affected by the devastating wildfires across our region.

To the firefighters, law enforcement officers, EMS personnel, public works crews, emergency managers, and the countless volunteers working around the clock to protect our communities, thank you. Your courage, dedication, and sacrifice have not gone unnoticed, and we are deeply grateful for everything you're doing.

We also want to acknowledge the families who have lost homes, those who have been forced to evacuate, and everyone facing uncertainty in the days ahead. Please know that we stand with you.

Getting Ready for Faire

Everyone remembers to bring their phone for pictures, but there are a few other things experienced Fairegoers rarely leave home without.

A refillable water bottle. Sunscreen. Comfortable shoes. A small bag for treasures that somehow "accidentally" come home from Merchant Row. Maybe even a portable phone charger if you're planning to spend the whole day with us.

A little preparation means less time worrying about what you forgot and more time enjoying everything the village has to offer.

What's one thing you always make sure to bring to Faire?

Some performances are worth planning your weekend around.

This is one of them.

Friday night is your one and only opportunity to see The Wellermen at the Spokane Renaissance Faire. Thanks to an exclusive agreement, this will be their only Pacific Northwest performance within 300 miles during this time. If you've been hoping to experience them live, this is your chance.

The evening doesn't stop there. The Wellermen will be joined by The Spice Boys, incredible evening entertainment, and a dance party that keeps the celebration going long after the daytime Faire has come to a close.

We're looking for volunteers to help represent the Spokane Entertainers Guild at Taste of Coeur d'Alene this Saturday and Sunday!

Community events like Taste of CDA are one of the ways we introduce new people to the magic of the Spokane Renaissance Faire long before October arrives. You'll answer questions, share what makes our Faire so special, meet fellow Renaissance enthusiasts, and help welcome new people into our community.

As our way of saying thank you:

Volunteer one 4-hour shift and earn one complimentary Spokane Renaissance Faire ticket.
Volunteer one 8-hour shift and, if you're 21 or older, earn one complimentary Knightfall ticket.
Volunteers under 21 who complete an 8-hour shift will receive two complimentary Spokane Renaissance Faire tickets instead.

Years later, those are the stories we still tell.

As the evening settles in, Knightfall brings an entirely different energy to the Spokane Renaissance Faire. Friday night features the only Spokane performance by The Wellermen, along with The Spice Boys, and a dance party that keeps the celebration going well into the night.

It's a side of Faire that many guests have never experienced, and once you do, you'll understand why so many people make a full weekend out of the event.

If you've only joined us during the day, maybe this is the year to stay after dark.
