The church originated in 1965 as several believers held services in their homes, with the idea of beginning an independent Bible church in the Spokane Valley. In the first few years the group moved from the original homes to a savings and loan meeting room, then to a local funeral home chapel, eventually to a Seventh Day Adventist church building, and finally in 1967 to the present location on Boo
We are excited to announce Riley Conrad is taking on a new role this season as our summer intern! Riley will be gaining a number of ministry experiences and will be focusing on Young Adult & Youth Ministries. Pray for him as he grows this summer, continuing to pursue becoming a fully devoted follower of Jesus!
All women, high school and older are invited to join us on June 13 at 2 PM for special women’s event featuring guest speaker Chelsea Yoshihara. Chelsea will be leading a workshop titled “Being with God“. We will be meeting in the youth center. Hope to see you there!

Thank you to all our local ministries who took part in our first annual Local Missions Conference! We are so thankful for each of you, how you love others like Jesus and share the good news with others.

This Sunday, Waypoint Community Church will be hosting our first ever Local Missions Conference. Join us at 9 AM in the gym for a potluck breakfast where we will hear from members of four different local ministries. Then during the 1030 AM service we will have a special panel discussion where we will ask our visiting local missionaries questions from you our Waypoint family. This year we will be joined by representatives of Union Gospel Mission, Cup of Cool Water, Prison Mission Association and Life Services. See you there!

All women, high school and older are invited to join us tomorrow, Saturday, May 9th at 9:30am. We will be meeting at the Peck’s house (1707 S Bowdish Rd, Spokane Valley). Women’s Coffee & Conversation meets the 2nd Saturday of every month.

Please join us for a spaghetti dinner (totally free) this Friday, May 1st. Dinner is served at 6pm. Doors open at 5:30. Our Youth Students are raising funds to go to Northwest Grace Youth Camp this summer. Cost per student to go is 350 dollars, and we would like to be able to support 20 students to go! You can help support by either donating, or by praying for our students.
