Fun little bar makeover!

I got this little table on Facebook marketplace and added some paint and texture to make it my own! I love how it looks with me new lamp too!

It seems the house rarely stays clean these days, so when it is, I feel the need to snap a pic! We have some family coming to town for a few days and I love getting the house ready for guests.

Is it done? Well. No. But am I in love? Absolutely I am.

She’s not completely done yet but the chickens are living in here instead of the garage so I’m calling it a win!

It’s done!! My living room build was this fun woven wood (aka edge banding) table. I love the outcome, what do you think?

Using edge banding in a creative way was inspired by , I highly recommend giving it a go!!

It may not be perfect but it’s exactly what I wanted! And I made it all by myself!! One of my favorite things about DIY is how you can customize something to fit your needs. Even if I had wanted to pay the full amount for the pottery barn version of this table, it would have been too small for the space. So for less than half the price I made my own!

We’re bracing for a storm here in Dallas. Our school has been cancelled, our grocery order can’t be fulfilled, and the governor has declared a state of emergency. Coming from out of state this has me like 😂😂 but that’s ok. I’ll stay home and try and make things pretty.

I needed some above the bed art so I whipped up this textured modern art piece at perfectly the size I wanted. That’s the beauty of DIY. You can custom make anything to fit your space. Did you follow along in stories? I’ve saved the diy to a highlight bubble. Easy art for anyone to attempt!
