A little sneak peek at what I’ve been working on 🥰🫶🏼

And the best is yet to come!

My heart is heavy today thinking of our fellow Texans going through so much right now.
The flooding across the Hill Country has swept through neighborhoods and summer camps, leaving families displaced, communities overwhelmed, and so many people still searching for answers. It’s heartbreaking.

I can’t imagine the fear and uncertainty they’re feeling. All I know is that when people are hurting, we show up. Whether that’s donating, sharing resources, checking on a friend, or just holding space for the weight of it all, we all have something to give.

If you’re able to help, here are two trusted organizations doing good work on the ground right now:
• Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country
bit.ly/txhillcountryrelief
• Texas Disaster Relief Fund
bit.ly/txdisasterhelp

And if nothing else please take a moment to send love, strength, or a prayer for the families who need it most right now. Sometimes, even energy like that makes a difference. 💙

If you are in the greater Austin area and need help you are unable to get with the overwhelm our first responders are facing please reach out to me and we will try to find a way to help or get you out if we can.

In times like these, we’re reminded that our strength doesn’t come from standing alone, but from standing beside one another. When we choose compassion, connection, and community, we can carry each other through anything.

This build is a little more bittersweet than most now that it’s complete. I’ve poured my soul into every detail, and a lot of you know I’ve called this build “my baby” from the start. Bringing this home to life has been an amazing journey, and I couldn’t be more proud of how it all came together.

Huge shoutout to all the incredible trades who helped make this happen, your hard work and talent mean everything! And a big thank you to for capturing it so beautifully. It’s always surreal seeing my designs through your lens!

This one will be extra hard to say goodbye to, but that feeling reminds me of how much I love what I do. 🫶🏼

I started in construction at 26—not just as a young woman in a male-dominated industry, but as the owner of a home building company. And yet, I was still overlooked, ignored, disrespected, and discredited by people who refused to believe a woman could lead in this field. I’ve had my expertise questioned, my authority dismissed, and my hard work minimized. But I refused to let others define my worth. I showed up, put in the work, and proved that I don’t just belong here—I thrive here.

Now, I stand alongside many incredible men who not only respect women in this industry but actively hold others accountable. There are good people in construction making it a safer, more inclusive space, and because of them, more women will have the opportunity to succeed. But there’s still work to do, and I will continue to stand on business, call out mistreatment, challenge outdated mindsets, and praise those who uplift and support women in this field. Progress doesn’t happen by staying silent.

The truth is, the construction industry needs more women. We bring a unique perspective, creativity, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail that make projects better, teams stronger, and businesses more successful. So if you’re a young woman stepping into this industry and people doubt you—prove them wrong. Show up, work hard, and let your skills speak for themselves. You belong here, and there is a growing community of women and men ready to stand beside you.

Thank you to the National Association of Women in Construction for the thoughtful gift box and for continuously empowering women in this field. We’re not just breaking barriers—we’re building a future where women in construction are seen, heard, and respected.

And a special thank you to and for not only supporting me, but encouraging me when I have moments of doubt. You’re both irreplaceable and do more for the future of women in construction than you realize. 🫶🏼
