You may have heard, Allison Elementary celebrated Read Across America this week! 📕📗📘📙We challenged our students to set a reading goal and asked for pledges to support their reading! Students earned prizes for their efforts! 🎉

We had spirit days to keep the excitement going! They dressed like super heroes, Mr. Bedwell🤓, had a pajama and tie-dye day! Yesterday, they honored Dr. Seuss with bright colors and had a visit from a few community VIPs!

We are THRILLED to share that our students are SMASHING their goals! 💥💥💥 As of Thursday, the students had read 32,415 minutes and earned $ 12,562!!!🥳🥳🥳

However, it’s not over just yet! Monday is the last day for students to turn in reading minutes and pledge money! The 99 pledges links will stay open until March 10th to complete final pledges.

Please encourage your students to finish strong and have fun reading this weekend! 📗📘📕📙

We are SO THANKFUL for our wonderful teachers and staff! Surprised them yesterday with beautiful and delicious cookies from Miss May Designs! Happy Thanksgiving!
