Lactic Acid is regulated at 10% for topical products at a non-professional grade. Those chemical peels applied by your fave esthetician are hitting in a range of 30%- 50% 😳

Lactic Acid is HIGHLY pH sensitive. For an exfoliation result the pH needs to hit around 3.5 - 4.0. Anything higher will deliver emollient (moisturizing results)😌 Anything lower will result in a damaged skin barrier and chemical burn 🫣

Lactic Acid is one of our favorite actives. Tell us...how do you like to see lactic acid used in your products?
