The question was asked “What did you learn today”. I learned that for the last 35 years I probably shouldn’t have been on a motorcycle without THIS class. This was an absolutely AMAZING 2 days! Russ, Jim and Holly truly care about the safety and health of their riders. The classes are limited to 8 riders which is PERFECT for what feels at times one on one interaction. It was amazing to see the students who NEVER rode OR started a motorcycle by the second day not only pass but clearly showed command and control of the motorcycle both physically and mentally. This could NEVER have been made possible without UPSTATE RIDER TRAINING. Throughout the practice courses and stages we became more of a “riding unit” meaning we went from a “who can do what” feeling to “hey we’re in this together”. Met an awesome bunch of people and could not be happier. I feel MUCH more knowledgeable and safer than ever before in my life.I plan to practice these skills when i get back home to my bike and look forward to the advanced course once I put a couple thousand miles under my helmet. A+++++++
