🙏🏾 Huge thanks to The People’s Coalition for organizing such an inclusive and engaging event for the upcoming election. It was an incredible opportunity for all candidates to speak and, more importantly, to connect one-on-one with community members. What stood out the most to me was seeing so many young people show up, ask questions, and get involved. Your voices matter, and your energy gives me real hope for the future. 👏🏾💬🗳️

Let’s keep these conversations going—community engagement is how we build lasting change.

🌟 THANK YOU, SPARTANBURG! 🌟
Over the past 4 years, we’ve had the absolute honor of walking alongside so many of you through our incredible city as part of the “Miles with the Mayor”initiative. Together, we’ve walked over 120 miles through Spartanburg — and what a journey it’s been!

Each mile has given us the chance to learn more about our city, learn from each other, meet new neighbors, network and connect, as well as build lasting friendships. More than just a walk, this initiative has been about creating a safe, healthy space where we could enjoy all that Spartanburg’s culture and community have to offer.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who showed up this past Saturday for one of our most exciting walks yet! We explored the new Planetarium, checked out the Kitty Black Perkins Makers Lab (even had the opportunity to hear from Ms. kitty Black Perkins!), strolled towards Fifth Third Park, and had fun at the Children’s Museum. It was truly fantastic!

Your continued support means the world to us, and we can't wait to see you all again next month as we keep moving forward — one mile at a time.
