White County Young Farmers and Ranchers

YF&R is a program by Farm Bureau for people ages 18-35 that are interested in agriculture. YF&R promotes leadership skills for farmers ages 18-35.

Members share a common bond for the agricultural lifestyle, are interested in leadership development, and are dedicated to solving problems facing agriculture. YF&R also provides social activities and competitions that recognize young leaders in agriculture. This is for White County members to help keep everyone updated on meetings and events.... We awarded two graduating seniors, Addie King and Logan Holman, a scholarship to help further their education within the agricultural field at the White County Awards Day ✨

White County YF&R decided to dedicate one of those scholarships in memory of our Farm Bureau Board Member, Mack Willhite. Anyone who knew him knows that he was an amazing person and a major supporter of our YF&R group. We were so thankful to have his family there to tell a bit about him and his passion for the youth getting involved in agriculture.

White County Farm Day was a great day 🌾

We loved having all the 4th grade students and teachers from across White County join us at Davis Farms in the Northfield Community to learn more about agriculture.

Thank you to the White County Farm Bureau for hosting, and a big thank you to all of our session presenters, sponsors, FFA members, and volunteers who made the day possible.
