El Jefe Kitchen

A little over 2 years I had to make the tough decision to close down El Jefe in Sparta. Having a Restaurant was a life long dream for me, cooking creating and serving has always been a joy for me.

A lot has happened between then and now, this year not only did I turn 40 but I also was awarded an associates degree in accounting Vols State. See shortly after I closed I was crushed but not defeated. I continued my education, owning el Jefe taught me so many new things and I realized I wanted to learn more from the accounting world.

Thanks to my wife that has supported me and encouraged me throughtout this journey. I also want to thank all the faithful followers and community we had over the 2 years we were open. I do miss seeing you serving you and talking to you. I get overjoyed when I see some of you in the community and you mention you miss the food 😊.

What is next?

Well, I am continuing my education and I am seeking a Bachelors degree from Tennessee Tech, God has given me strength thus far why not continue. I put my life my family and my future in Gods hands I know he will open doors in this new career.
