Sage Machine

It was a bit worrisome last night with the river forecasted to bust the banks! The city had our neighborhood streets closed until almost noon today when we were able to get back in to see what happened. All things are good, clean and dry and back to work but we will be about a day behind.

We are wrapping up another year here at Sage Machine and who should drop by but Santa and his lovely wife!
All of us here at Sage express our thanks and gratitude to all of our customers, suppliers and vendors who make our company possible. We look forward to another year of outstanding customer service and quality parts for all!

2015 saw some big changes at Sage. We bought some new machines, built a new website, added new tools and added space. This will enable us to increase capacity and reduce lead times for new parts, and we have improved our efficiency at processing larger volumes and larger parts.
This year we are gearing up to offer more Value Added services, design and assembly, for our customers.
Thank you to my entire outstanding crew and to all of our vendors who enable us to ship the impossible on time!

Sage has just finished installation of our newest equipment!
Brand new VF2-SS vertical mill and ST-10 lathe with the newest Haas bar feeder, both machines with all the options for highest production capability.
We have made the decision to transition out of the Brown and Sharpe machines and into CNC for the entire shop. This will enable us to offer more capacity of the high precision parts that we increasingly see come through Sage, consolidate internal resources and increase efficiency throughout our company.
The installation took a bit more time than anticipated so we are pushing hard to get caught up and stay on schedule for August, so to all our customers we appreciate your understanding and patience for the next few days.

Powder coated billet aluminum base for a new customer project that we are doing the design and assembly for. This was a fun one!

We decided that a combo of mid year and 4th of July meant that we needed to have a little BBQ lunch for the crew!
Everyone has been working Hustle Plus to make our ship dates on time and still maintain the high quality standards that Sage is known for. A big thanks to my outstanding team here for pushing through the heat and overtime to keep up our top notch customer service!
