Mid-sized recording studio featuring an extensive mic selection, Analog and Digital multitracking, loads of fun outboard gear and instruments and our new Euphonix CS-2000 console that was used on films like "40-Year Old Virgin" and "Dogdeball." Clients include The Beach Boys, Creedence Clearwater Revisited, Dillenger Escape Plan, G-Love and Special Sauce, E-40, B Legit, Lee Greenwood, Diana Ross and Lionel Ritchie.
Did a big drum session with Flannel Fish with lots of lots of mics!!! nearly cleared out the mic closet! The Glynn Johns microphones are AKG 414 for those who care.
Got to do a ridiculously fun and big drum tracking date with Flannel Fish where I got to pull out almost every mic from the closet! Here’s a walk-through of what we did for Steve Miller’s drum. The Glyn Johns overhead mics were AKG 414’s for the nerds who care!

And for our classical music friends, I’m helped track, mixed and mastered this recording of the Alias Brass Quintet which features Natalie Higgins and Jon Bhatia from the UNR Music Faculty. The 2nd project I worked with on them on. Tracked in the Hall Recital Hall of the University of Nevada Reno. Mixed and mastered at Imirage.

Doing some piano tracking wizardry with Louis Bonaldi! Might’ve gotten a little too excited with the mic options and pre’s! Took a few chances and got a lot of options.
