The Little Cake Shop

Hey hey it’s TODAY! Come see us from 12-3pm for our Farewell Bash and big thank you to all of you!

We have our driveway blocked for use of the park lot, we have been given permission by Rockwell Elementary to use their parking lot and will have sweet Officer Killian from Spanish Fort PD helping with traffic! We also have access from Thompson Tractor side of the shop.

Rain or shine we are partying and having a great time!

We did it!! Around 3:30ish Karen, Lorrie and Lacy realized they were working on their last cakes for our last tickets on our last day 😭 Then with the help of sister Brenda and grandson Jackson we finished out the day shuffling orders and treats out and at 5:32 our last cake was picked up ☺️

There is still not enough words to say thank you or to show our appreciation enough to our families for enduring these years with us and to you our customers for letting us into your family’s traditions and celebrations for well over 25 years. The words we keep hearing are “bittersweet”, and it truly is, but our Farewell signs do say no crying on them so we are staying on the sweet side!! See you all we hope June 5th to PARTY!!!! Today is the day, our LAST DAY!! We have put out our last batch of cupcakes, we have cookies and pastries all ready to go, so come on and see us before we go!! 🤩🤯

Happy Sunday all! We are gearing up for our last week in the shop, as crazy as that sounds! We had a great start to the end at our last event as The Little Cake Shop, the Bald Eagle Bash hosted by South Alabama Land Trust. This is always an event we look forward to, mainly for the food if we are being honest 🤪 Thank you to them for having us one last time!

So this is THE WEEK! Come see us for some goodies and then get ready to party with us June 5th! The storefront will be closed after Friday, 28th for us to prep for the party the following week. We do not have enough thank you’s or appreciation for each and every one of you over the years, and again we can’t wait to see everyone Saturday the 5th!
