After 17 years of promoting the Utah County Demolition Derby, we want to let everyone know that we will not be submitting a bid for 2026. This derby has always been a labor of love for us, and we have poured a lot of time and energy into making it a safe, fair, and exciting event for both drivers and fans.

For many years, the derby and the Fair were about celebrating the community and creating memories. Today, it feels like the leadership is more concerned about money than anything else. Resources and cooperation that are critical to producing a safe, professional show have been cut, while the focus has turned to cost-saving measures that undermine the quality and spirit of the event. The sense of partnership that once defined the Fair has all but disappeared, and that has taken much of the joy out of what we do.

To the fans, crews, volunteers, and especially the drivers, THANK YOU! Your energy, dedication, and love for the derby made it all worth it. You packed the stands, roared with every hit, and reminded us year after year why we did this.

We are forever grateful for the memories, friendships, and the hard hits along the way. Thank you to the drivers and fans who stood with us—we’ve loved every minute of it.
