Talledega nights fun race “if you ain’t first you’re last”
Qualifying we qualified 3rd during qualifying we had to do a pit stop challenge so a lot of factors came into play here.
A Main p3 to p1🏆 Easton set up his passes and held it down and ran away with it when he got the chance.
This was the exact race Easton attended last year for his first race after he turned 5. Last year he stopped on the track while lining up and he was driving off the track during the race. To see his progression 180 from that event to now has been real fun to watch. We knew he had it in him it was just a matter of getting him to believe himself too.
Thank you to our sponsor grandma Susan McPherson and papa Alan McPherson! With out your support that race defiantly would not of been possible.
And thank you to our outstanding engine builder! Pete Hawkins Hawkins Racing ent for our fast motors! Any family still looking for a builder try Pete!

Heat race results p6 to p5
Not to eventful for this race. Just working on our passes
A main p5 to p1
We were able to make passes and get great starts putting us In winning positions. We were involved in three separate accidents that weren’t caused by Easton. After the second one our car got bent up a little bit and we chose to stay out on the track. We then got in the third wreck which was eastons biggest wreck so far where he almost rolled. His car was super bent up after that one. He was a little shaken up after that one but he wanted to finish the race cause it was the last lap and he was still in first! He took the green flag and was able to hold onto the car for that win!
Super proud of how he drove in the main. He really showed what hard work and “not giving up” can do.
Thank you to our sponsor papa Alan McPherson and grandma Susan McPherson. The sponsors help keep us going and help maintain and keep our car equipment in good order.
Thank you to Pete Hawkins Hawkins Racing ent. Time and time again the motor proves to be a fast one with a determined driver behind the wheel!

Race day 1 results
- Heat race started P1, finished P2.
- A main started P2, finished P2.
Overall, this race day we learned more about passing. Our starts are looking better; we are getting up to speed a lot faster than we were!
Race day 2 results
- Heat race started P1, finished P1🏆
- A main started P4 and finished P2.
On Sunday, we ran most of the race in third place until the last lap and capitalized on a mistake and snuck away with the second-place finish.
Overall, we had a blast. We are learning every time we buckle in and race, and we get faster every single time we drive.
We would like to thank everyone who came and supported us this weekend! The love is felt and appreciated!
Thank our newest sponsors Grandma Susan McPherson and Papa Alan McPherson!
I also want to give a special thank you to Pete Hawkins and Hawkins Racing ent for building us a fast motor that keeps us on top! Pete’s a Stand Up Builder, one of a kind, always able to answer questions I have and checking in with us on race days.

This weekend we went down to Yakima for the first region race of the season. It’s a flat track and different than his home track at little wheels. For the heat race Easton started at P2 and ended at P2. He was still trying to figure out how to drive the track and when he was doing the correct line he got the car moving but just not enough time to catch P1. His class only had 8 cars so everyone got moved to the A main on Sunday. For the A main he was P1 and he ended P1, but he had a rough first start dropping him back to P5 and really had to work to get back up in positions and he ended with a great start after a caution and took off in the end! Unfortunately I have no pictures of him at the awards ceremony for the A main win since the novice classes were excluded from awards for the Mains.
Thank you to Hawkins Racing ent Pete Hawkins for providing a motor to keep us fast at whatever track we go to!
I also want to shoutout other Little-Wheels QMA Graham,Wa novice drivers that made the trip out to Yakima for their first ever region race. They absolutely did an amazing job and deserve the acknowledgment and recognition that every other class got yesterday. These kids got there first wins and podiums yesterday!
Jr Novice: Cash Stafford A Main 1st Place!
Jr Novice: Kinsley Forhan B Main 1st place and A main 3rd place!
Jr Novice: Sutton Myers 2nd in the B main!
And for every novice that came out to race this weekend you are so much appreciated and I hope you had an amazing time.
These kids worked so hard for their first wins especially at a big event like a region race and deserve recognition and the ability to stand on that podium. The parents do all of this for the kids. They are the future of this sport and should be treated as such.
*I did ask for permission from parents to name the kids before posting.
