As I posted the other day, I didn't do my usual challenge at the beginning of the month like I do every 3 months because I wanted to give everyone a break, but sadly the suffering doesn't take a break.

So I'm doing a "light version" of it. Each envelope is $20.

I want to talk about Ginger🫚 for a moment.

Ginger's adopters were hesitant😶‍🌫️ because I had her listed as a Greyhound/Kelpie mix. Adoption sites force rescues to pick a breed and even encourage us to pick a second breed so the dog shows up in more search results.

Why does it show up in more search results? Because adoption sites expect people to browse💻 by breed.

They looked up Kelpies and were concerned she would be way too high energy🌪

I told them the breed was just my best guess and that what mattered wasn't the breed assignment. What mattered was that I'd spent months with Ginger and knew she was a calm, easygoing girl🤗

After she arrived home, they emailed me and said, "Your description of her was perfect." 💙

He's one of the puppies that were with a foster for another rescue and mom and several siblings were hit by cars and the rescue then stopped responding to the foster.
His sister Thimble, who looks just like him but even smaller, is still available.

Ginger🫚 arrived in her 🏡 in yesterday.
Her new dad says: "Your description of her was perfect."

This Cardamom, the mom👩🏼‍🍼 to the 3 little puppies. These pics are from when I first got her. She let me shave her🪒a little bit that day but was not as cooperative as Zoey.

I spent two hours working on her yesterday, which was very tedious because the mats where thick and she wasn't having any of it, and I STILL didn't get it all😒

I got just enough to the point she could get spayed today because I am worried she might be pregnant🤰 again and as cute as her girls are, we don't need more puppies.
