As the school year comes to a close, our Maverick faculty and staff gathered in prayer, just as they did at the beginning of the year. Deacon Ulloa led today’s Liturgy of the Word, reminding us to keep Christ at the center of everything we do. As we head into summer, we do so with grateful hearts, strengthened by faith and community.
Our faculty and staff are ready to trade lesson plans for summer plans. Thank you for an amazing school year, Mavericks!

Yesterday, Maverick Lacrosse was well represented in the Davie Lacrosse Summer League.
Taking the field were current Maverick Jayson Sibilly (’28), along with alumni Robert Diaz (’24), Juan Llano (’24), Ryan Lopez (’24), and Gabriel Cairns (’23). Also representing the Mavericks were alumni Zach Ryan (’17), who served as a defensive coach during the 2024-25 season, and head coach Oscar Cifuentes.
It’s always great to see Mavericks from different generations staying connected through the game they love! Once a Maverick, always a Maverick.

Faith Fuel Monday
This week marks the end of one season and the beginning of another, a time to reflect on all that has been accomplished, the challenges that have been overcome, and the memories that have been made along the way.
Ecclesiastes reminds us that life is filled with different seasons, each with its own purpose. The late nights of studying, the excitement of school events, the friendships strengthened, and the lessons learned have all been part of this chapter of our journey.
As we finish the year strong, may we approach these final days with focus, gratitude, and faith. And as summer begins, may we find time to rest, grow closer to God, and prepare our hearts for the opportunities that await in the season ahead.

As the school year winds down, our faculty and staff are taking time to enjoy a little camaraderie before summer begins. This morning started with delicious treats from President Jean and Tastee Bakeshop, and later today, our administration will host a special end-of-year lunch to celebrate another incredible year together.

Today, our Mavericks are celebrating the highly anticipated Step-Up Day! With the Class of 2026 officially graduated, our underclassmen stepped into their new roles and proudly claimed their new class colors. From rising seniors wearing their carefully decorated crowns to students dressed in gray and teal representing their new grade levels, campus was filled with excitement for what’s ahead.
