Pressure has a voice. Fear has a voice. Disappointment has a voice. And if we are not careful, we can start repeating what those voices are saying until it feels more real than what God said.

Pastor Jon talked on Sunday about Israel seeing the grapes and the giants in the same land. The promise was real, but so was the opposition. The issue was which one they chose to magnify.

You may be facing something that feels bigger than you, but that does not mean God has changed His mind. Don’t let fear write the story. Don’t let one hard place convince you the promise is gone.

Keep your heart anchored in what God said.

Pastor Jon said something Sunday that should stay with us this week: the Lord wants to be wanted.

That’s simple, but it gets right to the heart.

A lot of us know how to make room for everything else. We make room for work, stress, schedules, conversations, errands, and all the things that pull on us from the moment we wake up. Then we wonder why our hearts feel dry.

Maybe this week doesn’t need to start with trying harder. Maybe it starts with turning your attention back to Him.

In the car, at the table, before work, before bed, wherever you are today, welcome Him there. Thank Him. Worship for a moment. Talk to Him like He’s actually present.

Because He is.

Today is the day.

Minister Bobby reminded us Sunday that Jesus never said the crossing would be easy. He simply said they were going to the other side.

The storm came, the boat filled with water, and fear took over the conversation. But none of it changed what Jesus had already spoken.

That is the part we cannot afford to forget.

Resistance does not mean God has changed His mind. A difficult season does not cancel His word. The wind and the waves may demand your attention, but they do not have the authority to decide where your story ends.

Jesus is still in the boat, and His presence is greater than anything rising against you.

So keep moving forward. Do not give fear the final word. We are crossing over with faith, authority, and the confidence that what God has spoken will stand.

There is purpose on the other side of your obedience.

Jesus crossed over for one man. One man bound by torment. One man isolated, broken, and living among the tombs. But when Jesus arrived, everything changed.

That man ended up sitting, clothed, and in his right mind.

This is the power of Jesus. He does not just visit broken places. He brings freedom into them.

Sometimes the battle of the crossing makes more sense when you realize there is victory attached to your arrival. There are people on the other side of your obedience who need what God placed in you. Lives are waiting for the transforming power of Christ to be revealed.

Keep moving forward. What’s on the other side is worth it.

We are not stuck where we’ve been.

Sunday, Minister Bobby reminded us that when Jesus said, “Let us cross over to the other side,” He was speaking destination before the disciples ever saw the storm. The storm did not have the authority to cancel the word of the Lord.

That same truth still stands for us.

What God has spoken over your life is not defeated by resistance. It is not overturned by opposition. It is not silenced by fear.

We are crossing over because Jesus said so.
We are moving forward because His word is still greater than the waves.
