🚨 Sandhills News Update Powered by Bleecker Buick GMC Hummer 🚨
Several big stories are developing across the Sandhills today.
📌 Harnett County commissioners delayed approving next year's budget while waiting on state lawmakers to decide how property values will be calculated. Depending on the outcome, residents could see a significant property tax increase.
🗳️ A bill approved by the NC House would postpone upcoming Moore County municipal elections by a year and make local races partisan. The proposal would affect 11 towns and the Moore County Board of Education if it becomes law.
❤️ And some positive news for Moore County. The Moore County Community Foundation awarded more than $115,000 in grants to nearly 30 local organizations, supporting everything from healthcare and food assistance to animal welfare and youth programs.
