Put in 13+ hours on the lake Wednesday and the 6+ pound bite I found went awol on stop 1. and I swung on them hard after a slow start at Shearon Harris Lake in the Team Tournament Trail. The Team put the weigh bag to the test with a 25.11 pound limit for the win. on the deck line with some terminal tackle from .vet.baits and got the job done.

When someone asks if the Crappie in Shearon Harris have any size to them…..one on a spinner and another on a Texas Rigged Creature. That’s enough for 4 sammiches right there!

Took a day off on Friday to fish the Special Operations Bass Anglers memorial event on Jordan Lake. Fished solo and managed a solid sack. The .fishing Azuma Square Dance was the early morning trick for a quick limit on the rocks….tick tick boom baby!

Catch a sack one day and lipping catfish the next. We remain blessed that we can help get people on the water….i just can’t seem to get them on the fish. Great day in the wind with Marine Paige…..who broke out a banana mid day and crushed that snack attack. lol One of these days! fishing team put just under 20 pounds on the scale for a 6th place finish anchored by 8.39 new tournament PB. Gas money and then some with the bonus bucks!

Got my heart broken once again catching a monster bowfin in a tournament. .vet.baits shaky head and some plastics always get bit!If I practiced I might actually do better, thankfully I have a job because we’d all be starving over here if we had to live off my earnings.

Birthday surprise to head to Missouri and spend some time with Jake Phillips and see what Bass Pro Shops had to offer at Table Rock Lake. Cold as a witch’s tit, but that doesn’t stop FLR Outdoors, LLC from making the most of our time. If you have not seen the Top of the Rock Ozarks Heritage Preserve you need to put it on your list.
