Last fall I had the great honor of traveling around the state to capture interviews with the Maine State Chamber of Commerce for a very special film about their outgoing president, Mr. Dana Connors.
I first met Dana several years prior when I was hired to produce a film for their annual event, honoring a notable person who had a significant impact on the state over the course of their lives. Early on it became clear that Dana and I share a connection most people don’t. We had a mutual understanding of each other on a level I think most people don’t usually grasp. Over the next few years we worked on several more film projects together, sharing compelling stories from some big names in Maine and strengthening our bond in the process.
One of the things I like most about Dana is his child-like spirit. He always arrives with a smile on his face, a curious mind and a positive attitude. He has a strong sense of self, purpose and commitment in all that he does. In spite of being in his late 70’s, he led the Maine State chamber as their president for nearly 30 years. It was one of only 3 jobs he held throughout his 57 year career. You don’t find people like that anymore.
It was an honor to not only work with Dana over the years but to also produce a film about his life. He is truly a remarkable person, humble to the core and incredibly bright. It was bitter-sweet to learn he was retiring after all these years but if anyone deserves it, it’s Dana.

Running. Some love it, others hate it. It’s either your thing or not at all your thing. Regardless how you feel, it’s something we all have the innate capacity to do.
Running can help us get into great shape - physically, mentally and emotionally. It’s free, it’s natural and it only requires that we put in the effort. When we do, the rewards we receive are incredible. Running is the most powerful tool for altering the course of our lives in a positive and healthy way. The simple truth is, the longer we run, the smaller our problems become 😄

Really excited to share this beer commercial I made for my friends at Funky Bow Brewery and Beer Company! This is the second beer commercial I’ve made for their brand (not sponsored but would love to be), this time featuring their delicious So Folkin' Hoppy IPA. I’ve been creating these mock ads because I love reimagining how a brand is marketed to its customers while maintaining it’s establish image and values. To create imagery that showcases a brand in a new and different way that's never been seen before is truly a thrilling experience. I love creating videos that make brands look cooler than cool 😎
