Checked out The Streetwich in SoPo this morning. Started with a Thai green tea with black boba pearls and a ham and cheese croissant. I’ll be back for the banh mi!

I had a great meal at .restaurant in Brunswick. Fresh pasta, great wine and cocktails, interesting salads, everything’s scratch-made… what’s not to like? Our friendly server Josh was helpful and prompt too.

G’s meal trumped mine—the creamy pistachio, pancetta rigatoni was the meal standout. My spicy sausage ragú was great too. And I loved the fennel olive orange salad (the garlicky Caesar is my next move).

I can’t wait to go back to sit at the bar and try some more of Pomelia’s appetizers with a glass of wine!

I checked out the revamped Dry Dock ( ) last night! Now run by the Luke’s Lobster team and Chef Matt Carney formerly of Evo, I think the menu is a good mix of classic seafood dishes like broiled haddock and bar food like burgers and wings.

There’s also an extensive raw bar selection like a seafood tower, ceviche, and seared tuna. The space has been updated but still has that old-school, waterfront institution feel.

I loved the redone two-story deck—the perfect place to enjoy cocktails while overlooking the working waterfront (and some good people watching on the Porthole patio 😉).

Dry Dock opens this Saturday! 🐟🦞🍸

Family trip to Acadia with a stay on Great Cranberry Island in the books. The park and Bar Harbor was so crowded in June! 😱

Had lunch at our favorite hidden gem with incredible fried chicken sandwiches and smash burgers from an Airstream trailer. 🌈

She cute! Cutie’s , in the former home of Petite Jacqueline on Market Street, serves up tiki-ish drinks, seafood snacks, and sunny 70s living room vibes.🪴

Open 5p-12a every day except Monday, and opening on May 11 for daytime hours with coffee, b’fast sandos, and pastry. 🥐

A lovely addition to Portland’s bar and cafe options! 🎏

Seen here: a frozen marg, banana-Scotch tiki drink with fish dip and fried Saltines; a cheesy fried snack cake; popcorn shrimp with a pisco-rum pineapple delight.
