Rushton View Stake

This week our stake had the opportunity to serve at Sandy Utah Crops. Members picked, cleaned and sorted fresh produce that went directly to the bishop’s storehouse.

So far this year Sandy Utah Crops has collected over 30,000 lbs of produce, only made possible by those who volunteer.

This weekend our stake had the opportunity to collect donations for Valley Services, a local domestic violence service provider. The hundreds of kitchen items, bed sheets, blankets, towels etc. will go directly to those living at the center as they try to get back on their feet.

We thank all who participated in the service project and pray those on the receiving end feel of Christ’s love.

On Saturday, September 10th as a part of the country's National Day of Service, we will participate in a multi stake drive for South Valley Services, a domestic violence service provider in the Salt Lake Area that provides safe shelter and services to men, women and children in our area.

We will partner with 6 other Stakes in our South Jordan region to provide a number of items to support these families. Our Stake will be collecting the following items:

What we need:
- New Twin through XL: sheets & blankets
- New bath towels, hand towels & wash clothes
- Sets of plates and bowls, flatware sets & drinking glasses (sets of 4)

These donations will be accepted on Saturday, September 10th from 9:00 AM to Noon at the Jordan Heights Building located at 4021 W Shinnerock Drive.
